What is one piece of advice you’d give a woman wanting to start her own business?
Just start documenting! Use Pinterest/Canva/Instagram/TikTok as almost like a scrapbook... This is what I did in the beginning and I wish I still did it like this actually... instead of waiting for a finished perfect piece of something. You never know what you may cultivate or who is watching your talents!

What’s a key learning you’ve experienced that you feel someone could benefit from?
That it is tough to own your own business, and lots of people glorify it a lot! You will be doing 5+ jobs at once, but it is the most rewarding and free you'll ever feel.

What is the biggest challenge you have faced so far, and how did you overcome this?
I ran out of space in my flat in London, and it was making me feel claustrophobic and preventing me from painting - I painted in the living - room/kitchen and it was slowly taking over the place! So, I made the decision to leave London and move back in with my parents where I had more space and an outhouse. This came hand in hand with more creativity but was a big risk! And a risk that I'm happy that I took for sure.

What makes you feel confident?
Being happy with what I am creating makes me feel confident, even if others do not like it. When I doubt myself the most and feel unconfident, it is usually when I am not happy with something I have produced or when I'm rushing something. Make sure you set up a cosy space around you too that makes you feel creative, whether that means making a comfortable little corner, or getting lots of pin boards and moodboarding all of your ideas/inspirations.
